What’s Happening This Month – July, 2017

What We're Learning

What Your Child Is Learning

2s – Pre-K

  • Basic Truth: God made me.
  • Bottom Line: I can do what God wants me to do.
  • Memory Verse: “God made us to do good works.” Ephesians 2:10, David & Goliath, 1 Samuel 17:1-50

Kindergarten, 1st Grade & K2

  • Curriculum overview: The kids continue to learn about Paul’s journeys and what Paul did to grow the Kingdom. They follow along with Paul and learned how God chose Paul to be a witness of all he and seen and heard of the risen Christ.
  • Memory Verse: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16

2nd-5th Grade

  • Curriculum overview: Your children will continue through Jesus ministry this month with a look at the life of His servant, Paul.
  • Memory Verse: “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.’” John 14:6–7

6th Grade

  • Curriculum overview: The 6th graders are learning the difference between knowing the Word of God, and putting that knowledge and faith into action.
  • Memory Verse: “But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.” James 1:22, 25

Sunday: Jeff Lowe

I love serving with Fellowship Kids. It’s fun blowing bubbles, shooting hoops, telling stories and taking buggy rides. I’m a single dad who enjoys the opportunity to serve these toddlers. If you haven’t served, you’re missing the opportunity to allow God to use you to make an impact in the lives of the boys and girls in Fellowship Kids. What’s one hour a week from your schedule to honor God with service to the King’s kids?
