A Journey of Generosity
Following Jesus is at the center of who we are. The Follow campaign sets the stage for how the next three years will shape the next 25 and beyond. Specifically, in this three-year period, we believe the time is right to solve two primary facility challenges we face that are hindering the accomplishment of our mission: connection space at the Brentwood campus and a permanent home for the Franklin campus, and to do this without taking on any debt. But Follow is about more than buildings—it's about cultivating a heart that overflows with generosity.
And Jesus showed us the way
The journey of generosity is modeled after Jesus' life: come, see, give, and live—a virtuous cycle of generosity from the heart. And the beauty of it is it's not just one and done, but it becomes a way of life. Our life becomes a reflection of what Jesus said: “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." And don’t miss this—the abundant life is the overflowing life. It is living in such a way that others may live.
But it will take all of us to cross the finish line
The cost to create the connection space at our Brentwood campus, purchase land, and build a permanent home for our Franklin campus is about a $30 million project. But through God's kindness and generous giving of our church body, coupled with good stewardship of our staff, we only need $15 million of that $30 million. That means we're already halfway there!
So, over the next three years, we’re locking arms—and opening our hands—to give $15 million together. We’re following Jesus in this, and we invite each person who calls Fellowship their home church to join us on this journey of generosity.

Connection space at Brentwood
Our Brentwood campus has served us very well, but we've never had a connection space where people can run into each other between services and have a conversation, or get a cup of coffee, or gather during the week to sit and study God’s word together. That’s why we plan to build a Connection Center, which would be a multi-use venue that could be used on Sunday mornings as a gathering place, a lobby area, and then all throughout the week for different gatherings.
Let's do this together
Only then do we “see”—our eyes are opened to see spiritual truths and realities. It is like Elisha’s servant having his eyes opened to see God’s army in 2 Kings. Jesus made it clear that we find them when we “give” our lives away. Thus, we live—not holding and grasping—but distributing God’s resources for his kingdom purposes. And the journey never ends because we live to invite others to come to Jesus.

Frequently Asked Questions
Follow is a Gospel-centered initiative that will call us to give generously to advance our mission together. You may have heard Rob and Lloyd say, “facilities facilitate mission.” Our efforts will enable us to pay the entirety of the building costs for both our Brentwood and Franklin Campus projects – debt-free! By doing so, we are leaning into the unique position currently in front of us and preparing for future opportunities into which God is calling us.
The best way to determine how much to give is to engage with the Follow weekend series and the 21-day Text Devotional. We believe that as you participate in this journey of daily prayer and time in God’s Word, the Holy Spirit will guide you to know what gift is right for you. The point of Follow is not that we all give equal gifts, but that we all lean in with equal generosity. So, when you decide how much to give, think in terms of generosity, not just in terms of amount.

One of our core values is that we are Spirit-dependent. We know that none of what we are planning will be possible without God’s Spirit going before us and making the way for us. We believe that God is calling us to undertake this project without going into debt. And so, if we are unable to reach our target goal of $15 million over the next 3 years, we will revisit our plans and scale down or pause certain parts of the project as needed. We will be communicating updates frequently along the way.
Ultimately, we will follow the Holy Spirit wherever He leads us, whether that plan ends up looking exactly as we envision it today or not.
If by God’s grace we exceed our goal of raising $15 million, we will allocate the additional funds for some other significant facility elements that we would love to add but were not able to budget into the current campaign.
