10 Reasons You’ll Want to Attend Global Summit 2014

Global Summit

In less than two weeks, we have an incredible privilege to once again host our 3rd Global Summit where we’re not only flying in most of our Global Partners from around the world (Peru, South Sudan, Germany, Jordan and more), but also bringing in some pretty amazing speakers to inspire and equip us.

You might be wondering whether something called the “Global Summit” is relevant to you for various reasons. Here are 10 reasons why I think you’ll not only want to attend, but why you’ll want to invite others to join you, too!

10. “Life on Mission” is as much about your mission in your neighborhood as it is about our mission to Nigeria or Peru or Slovenia.

9. You’ll get to hang out with real, live Dinka tribesmen from South Sudan!

8. Have you ever met someone named Caesar before? You’ll get a chance to meet one on Wednesday.

7. Where else will you get a chance to be around incredible international leaders from 8 countries for 3 days for under $30?

6. Two words: Celestin. Musekura.

5. You’ll have the chance to ask Al Fadi (Saudi convert to Christianity) in person about what its like to go from being recruited for Al Qaeda to experiencing the grace of Jesus.

4. If you want to hear from speakers like Dave Ramsey, Peter Greer and Brian Fikkert at one place again, you’ll have to register for the 2015 Catalyst Conference in Atlanta.

3. Steffen Weil (Potsdam, Germany) is not just going to be signing ‘mittendrin’ coffee mugs all week, but you get to hear him speak on Wednesday, December 3.

2. You won’t need Facebook or Skype to hear from Rosemary Khamati about her work in the Adjumani IDP Camp in N. Uganda.

1. If you don’t come to part of the Global Summit this year, you’ll have to wait until at least 2017!
