2s – Pre-K

• Basic Truth: Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Kindergarten, 1^st Grade & K2

• Topic: Joshua was chosen to lead God’s people into the land God had promised to Abraham.
• Key Passage: Joshua 24:15
• Unit Christ Connection: Joshua was a representation of Christ, leading the Israelites to victory in overcoming Canaan as Jesus leads us to victory in overcoming the world.

2^nd-5^th Grade

• The Voyage continues as we navigate the beginning of the New Testament. We will be looking at Jesus as a boy and His early ministry with His close friends the disciples.

6^th Grade

• Topic: Traps of peer pressure and substance abuse.
• Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:33; Ephesians 5:17-18
• Memory Verse: Colossians 2:3

Volunteers of the Month

Chad and Marsha Huntsman are the volunteers of the month. Marsha serves on Saturday night and Chad serves with the 4^th graders on Sunday during the 11:10am service.

Marsha jumped in when she saw we had a need and has made it possible for us accept more children in our nursery area. Chad is an amazing leader and goes above and beyond each week. When asked to handle both 4^th and 5^th grade he and his fellow teacher didn’t hesitate to do whatever it takes to teach our kids. Thank you Chad and Marsha—we love you!
