What Your Child Is Learning

2s – Pre-K

  • Basic Truth: Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
  • Memory Verse: “Go and make disciples of all nations.” Matthew 28:19

Kindergarten, 1st Grade & K2

  • Topic: Judges
  • Big Picture Question: How does God accomplish His plan? God works in the lives of people to bring about His plan for redemption.
  • Key Passage: Judges 2:18
  • Unit Christ Connection: God used the judges to deliver His people from their enemies; Christ delivers people from the greatest enemy, Satan.

2nd-5th Grade

  • Topic: We will be taking a break from The Great I Am curriculum for special lessons on Easter, worship, and baptism. Students will learn the truth of what Christ did for us on the cross, experience various types of worship and understand the importance of baptism.

6th Grade

    • Topics: Easter, Baptism, Connecting with God’s Big Story
    • Scripture: Luke 24:6-7
Volunteers of the Month

Saturday

Rich and Pender Lanam make a great father/daughter teaching team serving in the kindergarten class! They engage the kids in crafts, activities, and make them all feel special. The kids look forward to seeing them each week, and we appreciate their consistent service!

Sunday

Gary McClure is a dedicated, gifted teacher and serves in our 5th grade class, first service. He leads large group and strives to make sure each student is valued. His love for God and love for the kids make him a tremendous asset to our team.
