What’s one leadership lesson you’ve learned from past experience that applies to your current role at Fellowship? First, don’t lead alone.  Leadership is best experienced and realized in a team setting. Second, be yourself – the self your God created you to be as a leader. Don’t fake it. Lead authentically from the communion of your inner being with God’s Spirit. Any other kind of leadership won’t last nor will it create lasting kingdom fruit.

How did you settle on the role of Connections Pastor?  Through Fellowship’s Leader Development in 2013-14 I came to realize God’s Story and my story  intersected and pointed to a very specific calling for me: connection.  I know in my heart of hearts that I find joy, purpose and real energy leading and guiding connection. I love giving my life to help people discover that they are a unique workmanship of God, created in Christ to do good works which God himself prepared in advance for them to do. It’s hard to believe I get paid to do this!
