Flannel Project is our FSM mission trip for 7th and 8th Grade Students. On Flannel Project, we get to spend time together hosting a VBS-style program for children who are residents of local apartment complexes in Atlanta, GA. Students also get the opportunity to visit a Catholic church and a Hindu temple to aid in their understanding of how Christianity differs from other religions.
It also provides a way to connect with families of different backgrounds, religions, and languages at the apartment complexes they visit each day. On top of that, we get to have a lot of fun! In the past, we have been to the Atlanta Aquarium, the World of Coke, a Braves game, Stone Mountain, Medieval Times, and more.
