What do you like most about Nashville? I am a foody, I love to explore new restaurants and Nashville is such a creative place that has vast opportunities.

What is something significant you’ve learned as the father of three young boys?
Being a father has shaped me in some significant ways.  I vividly remember setting up the nursery for the first time in preparation to welcome our first born.  We had the glider setup in the corner and several mornings I would spend time in the nursery praying and reading.  We didn’t have a name picked out yet, we had several on a list but nothing jumped out at us.  This particular morning I was reading through the gospel of Luke and came to where Jesus was being baptized.  A voice came from heaven, and God the Father says, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”  We named our firstborn son Luke, because I loved him and was pleased with him not because of the things he did but because he was my son.  My boys continue to make the gospel tangible for me.  They have reshaped my understanding of God’s love in so many ways.  How amazing it is to me that he delights in me, and I am his son because of what Christ has done. O, how he loves us.
