This past year, Begin Anew of Middle Tennessee experienced a transformation only God could bring. In 2025, the ministry helped 460 adult students and celebrated a record 117 graduates—men and women stepping into new opportunities with renewed confidence and hope.
Through free programs like High School Equivalency preparation, English language learning, and job skills training—paired with mentoring and community support—Begin Anew helps adults overcome barriers and build a new future.

Behind each number lies a story. One student at the Online Campus once thought earning his diploma was impossible. Today, he not only advances with confidence but also inspires his sister—who is battling a serious illness—to begin working toward her own diploma. She has already passed two of her required tests. What once seemed impossible is now becoming real, step by step.
God is also opening doors in new places. In November, Begin Anew launched a partnership with Men of Valor, walking alongside men who have recently been incarcerated as they pursue their High School Equivalency diplomas. Eight men are currently enrolled, each one a powerful reminder that no story is beyond redemption and no life is beyond hope.
Across campuses, including Crievewood and Franklin, transformation is happening not just in classrooms but also in the community. Weekly Community Groups offer more than snacks and fellowship—they create spaces where students encounter Scripture, often in their own native language, and experience the love of Christ through caring leaders and volunteers. In these rooms, people are known, encouraged, and reminded that they are not alone.
Many students face real challenges—balancing jobs, family responsibilities, and personal obstacles. Yet, through the dedicated support of mentors, teachers, and volunteers, they find the strength to persevere. Time and again, students share how much it means to be part of a community that believes in them.

As Begin Anew looks ahead, the opportunity is clear: more students are ready to take their next step, but they need people willing to walk with them. This is where we, as a church, can join in what God is doing.
Would you pray for these students—that they stay committed and that God removes barriers from their path? Would you consider becoming a tutor, mentor, or prayer partner? Even small actions, like providing a meal or helping organize an event, can leave a lasting impact.
At Begin Anew, lives change every day. Together, we have the privilege of being part of those stories—helping others take their next step toward a hopeful future.
