Navigating Our Brentwood Campus During Construction

Posted on May 29, 2025

Our Brentwood campus is beginning an exciting construction project to enhance our facilities. This wonderful development means temporary changes to our usual traffic flow and walkways. We’re committed to a smooth transition and appreciate your patience, flexibility, and help during this season.

To help you prepare, here’s what you need to know, especially for our Sunday gatherings:

Sundays: Your Path to Worship & Fellowship

The great news is that there will be no active construction on Sundays! Our contractors will ensure the site is cleaned up every Friday, making our campus safe and accessible for our weekend services. Also, the temporary walkway will be ready for stroller and wheelchair access, too—so you’ll be able to get to and from the Learning Center and Worship Center as easily as possible during construction.

Here’s how we’ll navigate Sundays together:

  • Follow the Map: Below, you’ll find a clear map detailing the new parking areas, designated/temporary walkways, and access points to the building. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with this map before you arrive.
  • Parking:
    • General Parking: Please refer to the updated campus map for designated general parking areas. We encourage you to arrive a few minutes earlier than usual as you adjust to the new layout.
    • Kids’ Drop-Off: The North (near the playground) or East (closest to the soccer fields) Learning Center entrances are the most efficient routes for dropping off your children. Ample parking is available for families with kids, and we recommend using these spaces to avoid long walks due to the temporary walkway. We will have clear signage to guide you and friendly faces to greet you!
    • Handicap & Guest Parking: Designated handicap and guest parking spots have been relocated and are clearly marked on the map and with signage on campus. These spaces are near the south entrance of the worship center (near the volleyball courts) and offer the most convenient access to the building.

What to Expect During the Week

If you are on campus during the weekdays, please be aware of the following:

  • Early Starts & Active Work: Construction teams may be onsite as early as 6:30 – 7:00 AM.
  • Designated Zones: Workers will have their designated parking areas and portable sanitation facilities and will generally stay within their work zones.
  • Increased Activity: Expect some increased traffic and noise during work hours.
  • Settling In: After the first week or two, we’ll all become more accustomed to the new rhythms and routines. While construction teams will primarily stay within their designated areas, please expect occasional crossover.

We will do our very best to anticipate any issues and inform you in advance whenever possible.

Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and prayers as we build the long-awaited connection space at the Brentwood Campus!
