The Light of The World
During the season of Advent we cultivate and pay attention to the longings of our heart. Longings for a hope that does not disappoint. For love that is unconditional. For joy that rests not upon circumstance. And for peace, all things as they were meant to be. While the world may send us in multiple directions to satisfy these longings, the Scriptures point us to a helpless baby in a manger in Bethlehem, for “in Him was life, and the life was the light of the world.” (John 1:4)
