1. Workshop with Dr. Melody Aguayo: Sexual Development in Children with Complex Trauma

Discussing your child’s sexual development can be a challenge for any parent. As many of our children approach puberty, they lack the emotional and cognitive skills needed for success in this season of life. Parents raising children who have experienced complex trauma need to know specific things to help their child (and their family) thrive through puberty.

This workshop is geared for parents of an “at risk” child but will offer useful information for any parent raising a child in today’s world. Topics will include: the effects of pornography in a digital age, normal sexual behaviors across the lifespan, and how to talk to your kids about sex. Due to content, this class is open to parents (adults) only.
