In confusing and uncertain times, it can feel like wave after wave is beating against our faith, trying to slowly erode our biblical worldview and the Rock of Our Salvation. Difficult times can dredge up difficult questions and even doubts, making following Christ seem a greater challenge.
Jesus knew we and those we love would encounter times like these, and in His great love He left instructions on how we can build a robust faith that will stand. In Matthew 22:37, Jesus gives us the great and first commandment: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
When we come to Jesus with our whole heart—including our intellectual life—He can use our most trying times and most difficult and honest questions to build in us a robust and effective faith that shines as a light in the darkness.
In this 5-week introduction to apologetics, we will engage the following questions:
- What is biblical faith, and how should I deal with doubt?
- How can I sort through all the noise and know what’s true?
- Is God really there?
- Can I trust the Bible?
- How do I know my faith isn’t in vain?
Participants will leave well-resourced to continue personal study.
