Hunter Murray, Elder Board Chairman

Hunter Murray

Elder Board Chairman

I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. I was raised in a Christian home where I had a mom and dad who lived out their faith in front of me. My father led me to Christ when I was eight years old. Since that time, the Lord has been faithful to show me just how much I need Him, not just for my salvation, but for my daily journey “in Christ”.

I graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I dated Kristin for three years during college and married her in 1997 after we both graduated. For my career, I moved into executive search. We started our own firm, Northwind Partners, in 2008. We had our first son, Jaden, in 2002 and our second son, Colsen, in 2004. We joined Fellowship in 1998 and knew from our first visit that it would be our church home. We have served in a variety of capacities including community group leadership, Fellowship Kids, pre-marital counseling and set-up crew while we met at the high school. Kristin and I wanted to use our gifts to serve and we had every opportunity to do that at Fellowship.

Personally and as a church body, we have been through a lot over the years. The Lord has proven Himself faithful over and over again. Through it all, I have seen His good hand and His great love for me. His love compels me to serve this body with the gifts He has entrusted to me for His glory.
