I was born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee and our family resides on a small farm in the Leipers Fork area today. I married a beautiful South Dakota woman, Kajsa, in June 2008. We are grateful to be called "Mommy" and "Daddy" by three energetic and wonderful kiddos—Jake (6), Annie (4), and Myla Jean (1).
I am a walking testimony of God's mercy and grace. I spent eight years living a licentious lifestyle making terrible decisions, repeatedly. God never left me, even though I was running as hard from Him as I could. He continued to pursue me and thankfully He saved me November 8th, 2006. God’s pursuit of me reminds me of Luke 15 and the parable of the lost sheep, lost coin and lost son. I was lost, but God continued to chase after me. He had open arms for me and He tenderly placed me on His shoulders and brought me to safety. To say my life is 180 degrees different would be a gross understatement.
About nine years ago, God lit a fire in my heart to be able to clearly articulate and proclaim His Word in the home, marketplace, church and community. This "fire" took me to Dallas Theological Seminary, where I recently graduated with a Master of Biblical and Theological Studies. I help run a financial planning practice in Cool Springs and also serve with several local ministries in our community.
