These relationships deepen as we continue to serve side-by-side, working together, as neighbors, to shape a firm foundation of faith in Christ in our kids. Road To Recovery (AA Meeting)

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a group of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

    Bible Journaling

One way to engage the Bible is through Bible journaling—a creative process of writing and drawing out verses or making art in your Bible as a way to connect with Scripture and God. Don’t have room to draw in your Bible? No worries, Bible journaling can be done on any paper. We have Scripture coloring sheets available if you prefer that over freehand drawing! No artistic ability needed, just a desire to connect with God. Join us for a relaxing morning of journaling and connecting with other Fellowship women.

TO BRING: Bible and any of your own supplies you’d like to use. (We’ll provide: paper, coloring sheets, pens, colored pencils, and markers.)

    Men’s 27:17 Groups

    THE VISION

Proverbs 27:17 tells us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” From this we understand that walking in authentic, truthful relationships around the Word of God is critical for helping men grow in their relationship with Christ. Our prayer is that the relationships formed in these groups will challenge and encourage you along the journey of following Jesus!

    THE PLAN

These small groups of 4-5 men will meet every other week from September to May. You will be placed in a group based on the day and time preferences that you enter during the registration process. Groups will use the Discovery Bible Study (DBS) method as they follow a guidebook of Scripture passages. No preparation is needed.

    Women's Connection Group

When we are constantly hearing messages such as “I’m never good enough.” and “What will people think?” we have a difficult time connecting with other people. For this reason, it is important to develop an understanding of shame and the role it plays in our ability to connect.

In this 10-week class we will learn to define shame, practice empathy, explore triggers and vulnerabilities, practice awareness, and reach out to others. The curriculum for this group was developed by Brene Brown, Ph.D., LMSW and includes a copy of the book, I Thought It Was Just Me (But it Isn’t). Led by Teresa Hardy, LMFT.

    Following Jesus

The gospels tell us that Jesus spent time with three groups: the multitudes, the disciples, and an “inner circle” of three. What can we learn about following Jesus from observing His pattern and methods with these people? What if our lives demonstrated the same characteristics?

Join other Fellowship men as we discuss how to follow Jesus right where we are. All you need is a Bible and the desire to learn how to proclaim Christ, grow in your faith, and give your life away.

Created to Connect: Deepening Your Connection and Affection

We were not created to be alone, but for whole-hearted, deeply connected relationships. Yet, couples often lack a solid grasp of how to connect at a deep emotional level, and when couples struggle to connect, their affections for each other become strained. Desiring to improve connection and fix distress, couples often resort to an array of “fix it formulas” involving learning new skills, drills, roles and rules to manage their distress. These efforts usually work for a while, but often fall short over the long haul, resulting in even greater discouragement and isolation.

Marriage is a living, dynamic of emotional interactions. These interactions can either give life or drain life. The goal of this marriage workshop is to help you engage with each other at a level of connection that builds a secure emotional bond, leading to deeper affection and appreciation for each other, in other words, a marriage that you long for and were created to experience. Led by Maridus Kinder, LMFT, Pastor of Counseling.
