Global Outreach

Fellowship Franklin

At Fellowship Bible Church, we believe strategic partnerships are the life-blood of an effective and sustainable global ministry. Our primary aim is to lock arms with like-minded churches and organizations that are indigenous to their own cultures. Through these types of relationships we lessen the time-consuming learning curve associated with language acquisition and more quickly bridge cultural and ethnic gaps.

Under the sovereign hand of God, what Fellowship has in abundance is exactly what our partners lack—financial and equipping resources, and exposure to different kinds of strategies that can make a big difference in moving Kingdom initiatives forward.

Nate & Brittany Bruns

About Nate & Brittany

After being faithful Fellowship Bible Church members since 2004, Nate, Brittany, and their three kids moved to Potsdam, Germany in the summer of 2016. God started to draw their hearts to work in Germany after they attended their first Fellowship German Trip Interest meeting in 2013. In 2014 they went on their first short-term mission trip to serve the mittendrin Church with prayer walks, small group study, and service projects. God used a huge life-transition to re-align their hearts with His vision and at the end of 2014 they answered God's call for their family to go and work in Potsdam with a resounding, "send us."

Their first two years in Germany will focus on learning the language, learning the culture, supporting the praise and worship ministry, and starting to plant roots of relationships within the mittendrin Church. Their hearts are geared toward leading a marriage and mentor small group study, supporting the refugee outreach ministry, and continuing to support mittendrin's leadership team with future church plants.

Being on the front line of ministry is never easy. Please pray for them to have physical, mental, and spiritual protection. Their family Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 16:13, "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong."

Partnering with Serge Ministries in Bundibugyo, Uganda

About Sarah

As part of the Sponsorship Program for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) at Christ School Bundibugyo (CSB), we get to step in and say “This is not the end of the story.” We invest in the education of these children and we enter in to love the whole child—mentally, physically, and spiritually. For many of these students, coming to our school is a complete change in their life trajectory. An education changes their future forever and the gospel planted in their hearts changes the purpose of their lives. They become world changers through their days and years at Christ School.

The largest part of my role in Uganda is being the OVC Program Coordinator at CSB. CSB is a high school in far-western Uganda, in one of the most remote, least-educated, and poorest communities in the nation. For 16 years, our school has been living out the goal of being “An academically excellent senior secondary boarding school educating servant leaders for the good of Bundibugyo and God’s glory.” I’ve had the joy of being a part of this work for the last two years. Along with the OVC Program, I get to know the women of our school through coaching girls’ football (soccer) and leading a girls’ small group. I also work alongside our Ugandan staff and Leadership Team to encourage, equip, and disciple them—as well as learn from them immensely!

I am excited to share with you that God is calling me to continue loving His children in this far away place as a long-term missionary with Serge (formerly World Harvest Mission). This is a big shift—from short term commitments of one to two years, to a commitment of being a long-term career missionary. With Serge in a long-term position, we are re-evaluated every five years, as a check- in for spiritual health, mental health, and general life and ministry. Therefore, I am extending this term by three years to make a total of five through the end of 2018.

Anderson & Sara Da Costa Cruz

Partnering with Hellenic Ministries in Athens, Greece

About the Da Costa Cruzes

Sara is working with the Crisis Pregnancy Home that we have which gives counseling, medical services, housing and other essential services. Also, she is involved in developing a Roma Gypsy ministry through starting a community center that offers help cross generationally and through simple lessons, activities and social aid.

Anderson volunteers with opportunities through the summer with camping ministries through sports, especially soccer training, and mentorship. (We are praying about the next step and when we will do furlough. For the next year it looks like Anderson will continue with his soccer club, the most assured way for our visa status, and possibly this being his last year).

Jeremy & Brittany Eagleman

Partnering with Rafiki Foundation in Monrovia, Liberia

About the Eaglemans

Jeremy and Brittany have been active Fellowship Bible Church members since 2011, attending a Fellowship small group and leading an FSM 242 Group (students). They first started taking mission trips to Liberia in 2010 and fell in love with the people. They felt a true calling to go and work in Liberia and moved there in 2015. They joined the great work of Rafiki Foundation in 2017.

The mission of Rafiki Foundation is to help Africans know God and raise their standard of living. To accomplish this mission, Rafiki Foundation established 10 African countries, including Liberia. These villages provide orphan care, Bible study, classical Christian education, a teacher training program and a widow’s program.

Jeremy is the soccer and volleyball coach for the orphans at Rafiki Foundation. He’s also in charge of starting several different agriculture projects around the compound. Brittany is a teacher at the Rafiki Institute of Classical Education (RICE). She also tutors a few children every afternoon. Soon, Brittany will establish a widow’s program to support those in the local church to create products to sell to help provide for their family. Together, they love to be with the kids as much as possible and teach a weekly Bible study for the older boys at Rafiki Foundation.

Their family verse is Exodus 14:14: “The Lord will fight for you; you must be quiet.”

Erik & Amanda Hansen

Partnering with AIC-Kijabe Hospital/BethanyKids (Erik) and Rift Valley Academy (Amanda) in Kijabe, Kenya

About the Hansens

Erik and Amanda and their four kids moved to Kijabe, Kenya in December of 2010. Their first two and a half years in Kenya were as part of World Medical Mission’s “Post Residency Program” after which they transitioned to SIM as their long-term sending organization. As a pediatric surgeon, Erik works at AIC-Kijabe Hospital in partnership with BethanyKids not only to care for children with surgical disabilities but also to train African surgeons as part of the pediatric surgery fellowship training program at the hospital. The training program is run under the auspices of the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons and accredited by the College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa.

For the last three years, Amanda has been working at the elementary school at Rift Valley Academy where she uses her training and passion as a reading specialist to help students with reading difficulties. Their heart is not merely as academic and clinical educators, but they want to invest in people for the Kingdom with hopes of making Christ followers who care about the things of Christ.

Nick & Danae Ireland

Partnering with International YoungLife

About the Irelands

Nick’s primary focus is developing relationships with students, parents of the students, and the faculty at Singapore American School (SAS). His hope is to point individuals to Christ through investing in them relationally. Singapore American School is the largest single-campus international school in the world with over 3,900 students from more than 50 nations. These students are often from very influential families from around the world and are only temporarily in Singapore before returning to their home country. Thus, Singapore is uniquely positioned to enable ministry to students and families in Singapore to impact countries all over the world for Jesus. This is our vision: to reach a world of kids by sharing the Good News of Jesus in Singapore.

Danae volunteers alongside Nick. Her role includes building relationships with students and their parents--specifically their moms, leading a Bible study with a group of girls that attend Singapore American School as well as participating in camping and events.

Chris & Amy Moore

Partnering with Hellenic Ministries in Greece

About the Moores

We are Chris and Amy Moore from Atlanta and Chicago, but now residing in Greece. Chris attended Lipscomb University in Nashville and acquired a business degree, and Amy attended Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Missions and Bible. We have very different stories of how God worked in our hearts to get us to Greece, but both tell of His awesome provision, sovereignty, and goodness. Chris felt called to work with Muslims through a season of doubt and difficulty, and was connected with Hellenic Ministries through an old friend. Within two and a half years of first visiting Greece, Chris was on the mission field. Amy had been coming to Greece for 13 years, and had been working towards full time mission work since college. In 2013 our paths collided as we were working on the same ministry team to refugees. Long story short, we fell in love, and married in May 2015.

We work with Hellenic Ministries and are on a team that serves refugees from the Middle East and North Africa. Currently, we are working with refugees from Afghanistan and Iran. The work is filled with ups, downs, and many headlines in the news. We manage a center that is used to help meet people's basic needs by providing meals, laundry, showers, clothing giveaways, and discussion groups. While proclaiming Jesus as the true source of life through it all. With all the physical need we provide for, we always seek to meet the spiritual need, and share the gospel in action and in word. Each week we are able to serve at least 500 refugees—men, women, and children. We are blessed to witness people come to faith, and so many who are taking the Gospel with them as they move on to Western Europe.

Athens, Greece is a place where refugees can first experience the freedom to seek out who Jesus really is. Athens, Greece is a place where darkness meets the light! The Father is doing mighty things before our very eyes in the hearts of those that He is drawing out of the East. We covet your prayers and your support as we seek to share the Good News with those who are stranded and seeking a place to call home. God is breaking through and it is a privilege to be a part of it!

“Look at the nations and watch—and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” Habakkuk 1:5

Amanda Snyder

Partnering with Josiah Venture in Celje, Slovenia

About Amanda

Amanda Snyder lives in Celje (pronounced sell-yay) Slovenia and works with a rock music ministry called Fusion. Fusion is a relational ministry that uses music as a tool to share the gospel. Each week they have band practices, choir practice, and time together where they share the love of Christ with others. Amanda’s main role is to help on the music side of things (help arrange songs and teach them to the choir) and disciple teenage girls so that ultimately they become disciples who make disciples. She not only works with Fusion Cleje, but also serves on the Fusion Slovenia team. The team is praying with a bold faith to have five more Fusions to start across the country in the next four years.
