Fellowship Brentwood

At Fellowship Bible Church, our desire is to mobilize, equip and unleash Fellowship members to care for and serve one another well. By doing so, we are fulfilling Christ’s command that we “love one another” as He has loved us (John 13:34).

In a church as large as Fellowship, it is sometimes easy for people to feel disconnected and unknown—especially during seasons of loss, sickness or need. Our Fellowship Care teams are a practical means of loving Christ’s church, a reminder that we belong to a caring spiritual family. As God allows, we hope to be Christ’s hands and feet in service to one another.

Note: Due to the size of Fellowship and volume of needs, we prioritize these means of caring to our Fellowship covenant members and regular attenders only.

At Fellowship we desire to express Christ’s love for His church body by caring for each other well. If you or your family are currently experiencing a life-impacting event such as the loss of a loved one, illness or surgery, hospitalization, or the joy of a new baby, our pastoral team would like to know. We want to support you in prayer, and walk alongside you as best we can.

Feel free to fill out the our care form, or for direct assistance please call our church office at 615-777-8500.

As a means of caring for those in our church body, Fellowship has initiated several care teams by which members are able to serve each other.

Make a Meal

On Call Team

Our meal team ministry consists of six groups of volunteers, each scheduled to be on call two months out of the year (e.g. January & July). Under the direction of a team leader, each group prepares and delivers meals to Fellowship members who are experiencing the joy of a new baby, an illness in the family, a crisis situation or the loss of a loved one.

Fill the Freezer Team

On those occasions when a ready-made meal is either unavailable or inconvenient, a freezer on campus remains stocked with meals ready to be delivered at a moment’s notice. A cooking team enjoys getting together on a regular basis in order to prepare and package homemade meals that bless those in need.

Prayer and Encouragement

Card Writing Team

Everyone loves a note of encouragement, especially when its words are covered in prayer. Our card-writing team wants Fellowship members to know they’re not alone when facing illness or going through a difficult season. Hand-written cards or notes are a means of expressing the comfort and encouragement of Christ to our church.

Prayer Teams

Weekly emails with non-confidential prayer requests are sent to those who would like to join in prayer. Also, a team of intercessors meets each Friday morning to pray for pressing needs.

Visitation Team

Visitation team members spend time with residents of local nursing homes and care facilities, investing in the lives of those who may feel alone or forgotten.
