    Men’s 27:17 Groups

    THE VISION

Proverbs 27:17 tells us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” From this we understand that walking in authentic, truthful relationships around the Word of God is critical for helping men grow in their relationship with Christ. Our prayer is that the relationships formed in these groups will challenge and encourage you along the journey of following Jesus!

    THE PLAN

These small groups of 4-5 men will meet every other week from September to May. You will be placed in a group based on the day and time preferences that you enter during the registration process. Groups will use the Discovery Bible Study (DBS) method as they follow a guidebook of Scripture passages. No preparation is needed.

    Re | Engage

    Reconnect, Reignite, Resurrect your Marriage

Re | Engage is a marriage enrichment program. Marriages in any condition can benefit, whether you are struggling to get along, your marriage is broken, or you simply want to grow closer together as a couple. Re|Engage examines God’s design for marriage and applies heart-focused biblical principles to guide couples towards growth and intimacy in their relationship with each other.

    What to Expect

Receive encouragement by hearing stories from other couples that have experienced growth and change in the midst of hard times.

    Small Group

You will be placed in a small group with a facilitator couple and other couples to work through a 17-week curriculum.

    The Key to Your Success

To be willing, as a couple, to commit to the process. What is the process? Attendance each Monday night and an additional one to two hours a week working through the workbook with your spouse.

    Note from Teacher

“My wife Anne and I, who have been married for 36 years. We spent this past fall with six other couples going through this study. It was powerful! Our small group time was both affirming and challenging, and the time spent working through the material with my wife was deeply enriching and gently pushed us to some risky conversation and some new-found intimacy.”

    Larry Kayser
    Pastor of Marriage Ministry

Registration is full, but you can email Annelie Williams (awilliams@fbctn.org) to be placed on the waitlist.

    Global Trip to Lesvos, Greece

The desire for safety, freedom and economic well-being continues to drive refugees toward Europe. The Greek island of Lesvos, sitting just a few kilometers off the coast of Turkey, has become a popular destination for many of these travelers. Yet for thousands of people this dream of freedom has led them into a refugee compound of cramped conditions and subsistence living, while they wait out their asylum process.

Our Fellowship team will join a team from Good Shepherd Community Church in Oregon, as we serve these precious refugees at Moria camp on Lesvos. We will serve food and water, pick up garbage, pass out clothes and do basic camp maintenance, as well as other strenuous acts of service. Most of all, we will exhibit the love of Jesus in all we do and say.
